Where does you autumn holiday go to?

Many families have their home as their base and go from there to activities and sites in their community. When the children grow, if can be difficult to find new activities to challenge school children of all ages.

Autumn is a beautiful season in Denmark with burned colours on the deciduous trees and flowers that step up on the palette before hibernation. The weather is often warm enough for the packing of just rain clothes and a sweater, and it’s the high season for children-friendly activities and sites.

If you have an indoor-day with reading, iPad and relaxation, we offer morning coffee, lunch buffet and afternoon coffee. After a night stay in our modern rooms, we say good morning with a buffet that gives you energy to a long day with autumn activities.

Sites in walking distance

You don’t have to drive far to find attractions on your autumn holiday in Kerteminde. The fisher girl Amanda welcomes guests to the town and in the idyllic old inner town, many of the old fishermen’s houses are preserved.

The Fjord & Bælt Centre is an unforgettable adventure for the entire family. See the fish in the many aquariums or walk through the long underwater tunnel with a view to the real underwater world.

In the Viking Museum Ladby located by the fjord, you can see Denmark’s only ship grave from the Viking Age. This is a world-famous tourist attraction in line with the Viking ships in Roskilde and Viking ring castle Trelleborg.
